Reducing weight needs a thorough dedication so do not expect miracles to happen overnight. To increase your body metabolism you need to train your body that way. Also, your body metabolic rate depends on a number of factors like age, your genes and most importantly your lifestyle. If you maintain a hectic schedule and take out time for gyms…you can try doing these for an easy way to increase your metabolism.

  • Drink as much water as you can. If you can drink 3–4 liters of water you would do a lot of good to your body. Our body is made up of 70% water and our organs need water in ample amounts to work optimally. Your body metabolism also gets increased when you drink more water through out the day. Most in the morning and noon.
  • Flushing the toxins out of your body. The more the toxins would be the more sluggish your body will remain. Eat raw as much as you can, green veggies, fresh fruits, high-fiber foods, cucumbers, tomatoes, melons etc.
  • Train your brain to direct your body to act accordingly. Take all your meals early. Breakfast at 7 am, Lunch at 12 am, Dinner at 7 pm. In between the meals you should take healthy snacks so that your brain does not send the signals like your body is starving. If it does your body would would begin to store fat as an SOS condition. 4 pm and 11 am is an ideal time for healthy snacking.
  • Give your body a sound and uninterrupted sleep of 7–8 hours. (Day napping is not included.)
  • Certain spices like cinnamon, black pepper, cayenne pepper and cloves are the super-spices that boost your body metabolism.
